VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

Majeed Alzahrni:
My name is Majeed. I’m from Saudi Arabia. I came United States for school. I’m doing mechanical engineering. I’ve been trying to get in The Arena for about two years now. And I came from a culture that boxing is not big at all. And honestly, I could not ask for a better place than The Arena. I remember my first day I walked in here and I asked Joe, the head coach boxing here, I told him I want to fight. And he was like, “Okay, you just need to show up and put in the work.” And I did. I worked my way up. I started competing. I joined the amateur teams and here we are.

Joe is more than a coach. Honestly, he’s like my father here in the US. I just can’t put into words how great he is. Not only as a coach, but also as a human being. Before The Arena, I was training at some other gym and honestly the environment and the quality of fighters, they were not the same at all. The Arena is one of the best if not the best in San Diego. My advice to anybody who wants to start any type of combat sports is come to The Arena, man. It’s the place to do it.
