San Diego’s premier gym, The Arena, is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its boxing team at the recently concluded California State Golden Gloves tournament in Pasadena. The event, which took place last weekend, saw three of The Arena’s talented fighters claim victory in their respective weight divisions, earning them a spot in the prestigious National Golden Gloves tournament.
Aaron Hardin, competing in the 147-pound weight class, showcased his exceptional skills and determination throughout the tournament. With a display of lightning-fast combinations and clever footwork, Hardin outboxed his opponents to secure the top spot in his division.
In the 156-pound category, Marco Jones proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Jones’ powerful punches and relentless pressure overwhelmed his rivals, leading him to a well-deserved victory and a ticket to the national stage.
Rounding out The Arena’s trio of champions is Joseph Gordon, who dominated the 203+ pound division. Gordon’s imposing presence and heavy-hitting style left no doubt in the judges’ minds as he claimed the top prize in his weight class.
