This past weekend, head Jiu Jitsu instructor Baret Yoshida competed at Fight 2 Win 200, in Honolulu, Hawaii against fellow Hawaiian grappler Jeff Huang. Their bout in the lightweight division was the featured bout of the evening. Baret, a natural featherweight, took on the much larger Jeff Huang for the F2W lightweight championship.
The bout was relatively quick as Baret secured an anaconda grip in the first minute, and then proceeded to chase the finish for the following minute, forcing Huang to tap to an anaconda choke at 2:10. Baret was then crowned as the F2W Lightweight Champion.
