Wrestling is a combat sport involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. Wrestling comes in different forms such as freestyle, Greco-Roman, judo, sambo, folkstyle, catch, submission, sumo, pehlwani, shuai jiao and others.

Learning and training Wrestling will provide you with a great understanding of grappling leverage, physical conditioning, and overall close distance self defense. Wrestling will also teach you takedowns, pins, balance, and advanced body mechanics. 

For those that are interested in taking a wrestling class, the Arena wrestling program is led by Cole Wysocki who is a three year varsity letterman at Purdue University. Wrestling class takes place Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm, and Saturdays from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
