Adam Henkel began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 1997 at a small club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After college, he moved to Florida to train at American Top Team under Carlson Gracie black belt Marcos “Parrumpinha” Da Matta. During his time there, he earned numerous local tournament titles and medaled at three IBJJF Masters World Championships. In 2013, Adam relocated to San Diego to train at the renowned ATOS Jiu Jitsu, where he was awarded his black belt by Andre Galvao in 2016.
